The Story
Where O33U comes from
The idea behind O33U started long before the company did. One of our founders tried her first hot dog in New York at fifteen and never quite stopped thinking about it. What stayed with her was how many forms a dish this simple could take. At a highway stop it can be a sausage with ketchup and mustard, on a New York street cart it might come with onions in red sauce or sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard, and in Chicago it arrives under seven toppings, from pickle spears to celery salt, on a poppy seed bun.

Why Dubai

Dubai is our home, and every community in it is part of the same pattern.
Dubai is our home, and we see it the way you see through a kaleidoscope: many distinct pieces of glass, each with its own character, turning together into a single picture. The communities who live, work and cook here are those pieces, and O33U was built to reflect them.
Every haute dog starts with the same five layers, and what changes is the story inside: the sauces, ferments and finishing touches that carry a flavour from one of the food traditions that meet in this city. The Khaleeji speaks the language of the Gulf, the Bombay Chaat and the Pampanga bring the street food of Mumbai and the culinary capital of the Philippines, and the Manhattan pays tribute to the American original.
Our menu follows the people around each location, so every kiosk turns the kaleidoscope a little differently. The malachite, sapphire, ruby and gold of our stained glass hold the same idea, with separate pieces set together in one frame.
The structure stays the same, while the pattern inside keeps turning.

Why Haute
In French, haute means high, and it has long marked the top of a craft: haute couture in fashion, haute cuisine in the kitchen. We borrowed the word as a tribute to French gastronomy and the standard it set, where every ingredient is chosen with intent and every recipe is built by a chef.
That is the standard behind every haute dog. The ingredients are curated one by one, the recipes are developed by chefs, and the result is served in minutes, in a form everyone already knows and loves.
Haute is also an invitation.
